How do I reserve a jet ski, and how far in advance should I book?
You can book online through the website or call Waterboiis directly at (951) 420-3870. Booking early is strongly recommended, especially for weekends, which fill up often. Every reservation is capped at 2 jet skis — please make an additional reservation if you need more.
What type of jet ski will I get?
Waterboiis rentals are 3-seater jet skis with a typical top speed in the 50-55 mph range.
Is there a security hold?
Yes. Single-day rentals use a $500 hold that covers up to 2 jet skis ($1,000 for 3-4 skis). Multi-day rentals use a $500 hold per jet ski. The hold is placed as a card authorization and released after the ride if no damage is present. Cash is not accepted for the security hold.
Do I have to sign a rental agreement?
Yes. The primary renter signs the rental contract during online booking, and every rider signs a release of liability waiver before ride time using the link in the confirmation email.
Do you deliver jet skis?
No. Every rental is Tow & Go: you pick up the jet skis on the included trailer and tow them to the lake of your choice. Lake drop-off and delivery are no longer offered.
What does the rental include?
Every rental includes the trailer and 2 life jackets per jet ski. Single-day rentals come with a full tank of gas, and extra gas tanks are available. Multi-day rentals do not include gas—you gas as you go, and empty gas tanks can be rented for $10 each.
How long is the rental?
Weekdays offer a 4-hour Half Day (start any time between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM) or a Full Day with same-day pickup and drop-off. Weekends are Full Day only. Multi-day rentals pick up at 8:00 AM on the first day and return by 8:00 PM on the last day.
Can I rent one jet ski for multiple days?
Yes. Multi-day rentals are $350 per day for 1 jet ski or $650 per day for 2 (the max for multi-day), booked with at least 5 days notice. A $500 security hold applies per jet ski, gas is not included, and empty gas tanks can be rented for $10 each.
Can I rent if I am 17 years old?
No. For local lakes (Lake Perris and Lake Elsinore) the primary renter must be at least 18. For all other lakes the primary renter must be at least 25. Every rider must be at least 18—we collect date of birth at checkout to confirm eligibility.
Why do you ask for date of birth and destination lake?
Your destination lake sets the minimum age: local lakes (Lake Perris and Lake Elsinore) require the primary renter to be 18+, while all other lakes require 25+. Date of birth is collected during booking so we can verify eligibility before confirming the reservation.
Are you located at Lake Perris? Where do we meet?
Waterboiis is based in Perris, near Lake Perris. Final meeting details are provided after the reservation is confirmed.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Waterboiis accepts debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash. The booking process will walk customers through the exact payment steps for their reservation.
Can rentals go in the ocean?
No. Rental jet skis may not be taken into the ocean. The only ocean ride offered is the guided Catalina Island tour. Unauthorized ocean use results in a $500 charge against the deposit.
How do I cancel my reservation?
Please call as soon as possible. Rentals require at least 5 days notice, cancellations within 5 days are charged the reservation fee plus the applicable security hold, and no-shows are charged the full remaining balance.
What should I bring to my rental?
Bring your ID, the card used for the reservation, and make sure your contract and waiver are completed ahead of time. Waterboiis also recommends sunscreen, drinks, snacks, food, shade or a canopy, water shoes, a bathing suit, and a towel.
